Lead Me Lord

Lumuuno Kabanda

Written by

Write your will upon my heart Lord where I cannot miss it, so I will never have to guess it and the devil and his agents can never take it, even I will never misplace it...

Let me wonder no more along this long road, lead me to still waters where I will lay my heavy load, put me in right as you rewrite my life and make it right...

It's been risky down here lord it's been full of whiskey, turn to me lord, look to me and take away the risk. It's been so sour lord I need your power, I won't move lord til you go before me.

I've been running fast with no direction, let your spirit take me whole and stop the action. Keep me away from regret and let me thy presence greet.

Take away the shame and give me a new name. Take away the sand, establish me to a place where I can regain my stance, a place where I can learn to stand...

Lead me when I cry, in my down moments when I wish I could fly, guide when I try, lead all the way to your land, even when I seem not to understand, lead all way till I see the end...
